Pest Management

Pests are a recurring decimal in our daily lives and they can present significant challenges to public health and agriculture. In Public Health, vectors like mosquitoes, houseflies, bedbugs, sand flies, cockroaches and rodents transmits malaria, leishmaniasis, cholera, salmonella, leptospirosis, lasso fever, rodents are pest of economic significance as they destroy property, and contaminate food and causing wastage and will significantly affect our well being and leisure.

In agriculture – crops and animal husbandry they transmit several disease of economic importance which can reduce production of food – eggs, meat, milk etc and poor crop yield will significantly affect the incomes or profits of farmers.

Our Strategy for Pest Management

We engage the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) protocols in managing pests of economic importance whether in Public Health ( Residential and Commercial Properties ) or in Agriculture – Crops and Livestock farms eg poultry, pigs, open field crops, greenhouses etc.
